CNC Mill
I have a Dyna Mechtronics 2400 that has been converted to run Mach3. I use it to machine aluminum and steel parts for the various projects I work on. A few parts I have designed and machined on it are shown below:
DM 2400 with custom welded frame Custom cog for my school’s Shell Eco Marathon vehicle Bracket to hold the dual extruders on my 3D printer Bracket to allow a small boat motor to be locked Ratchet pawls for a compressed air hose reel Custom bicycle dropouts to allow a thru axle to be used Replacement roof box bracket to replace original broken plastic one
3D Printer
I designed and built a 3D printer. It was build using 2020 extrusion for the frame and has custom 3D printed and machined components. The X and Y axis are set up using the CoreXY belt configuration which helps reduce the weight of the moving components. It features 2 print heads which can print PLA, ABS, PETG, PC, flexible and other filaments. It also has a heated bed which can reach 150°C. Its build volume is 12″ x 12″ x 12″.
Anodizing
I have an anodizing set up that I built to be able to anodize aluminum parts I machine.
